About fastpdfnow
A small, honest set of PDF tools built in Lima, Peru.
Why this exists
I am Mateo, a data analyst and Systems Engineering student in Lima. Around me I kept seeing the same scene: a classmate trying to compress a thesis so the virtual classroom would accept it, a relative sending photos of her ID over WhatsApp because she could not turn them into a PDF, an office that still prints a contract just to sign and scan it again.
The popular PDF sites solve this, but at a price: your documents travel to their servers, the download button is often locked behind a "pro" plan, and the pages are packed with upsells. I wanted something simpler and more respectful.
fastpdfnow does the work inside your browser with open-source libraries (pdf-lib and pdf.js). There is no upload, so there is nothing to leak, store or "delete after one hour". You can load a page, turn off your internet, and the tools still work.
What we care about
Privacy by design
Not a promise to delete your files: we never receive them in the first place.
Honest limits
Each tool says what it can and cannot do. If strong compression turns text into images, we tell you.
One job per tool
No account, no wizard, no 40-option panel. Add the file, choose, download.
Made for real paperwork
Application files, ID copies, CVs, theses, receipts: the documents people actually deal with.
How the site is kept free
fastpdfnow is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Ads never read your documents (they cannot: the documents never leave your device). You can control cookies in the preferences panel.
